Moscow, in a future which is slower than our present. Manya and Vinkenti, two emergency night doctors, drive through the city in their flying Jigouli ambulance. Russia has gone through a political hiccup, and the whole country has mired itself in slow economic agony, and is certainly going to die. The team of ambulance drivers is the perfect witness for the decay of Russian life. What's more, their jobs are threatened by a European company which takes root in Moscow, whatever the consequences. One night, they are given an intern, Méhoudar, and he's not even really Russian, by their standards. They are still going to teach him the ropes.
