Masao Yamamoto, born in 1957 in the city of Gamagori in the Japanese prefecture of Aichi, is a photographer who began his art studies as a painter, studying oil painting under the supervision of Goro Saito in his hometown. Masao found in the photograph, the ideal medium for the subject that worried him: to capture images that could evoke memories. The book Small Things in Silence , makes a tour through twenty years of race of one of the most important photographers in the Japanese panorama. In the words of Yamamoto himself: "I try to capture moments that nobody sees and take a photo with them. When I see them printed, a new story appears. " Small Things in Silence , includes images of each of the author's works: Box of Ku , Nakazora , Kawa and Shizuka and images of some of his original photographic installations. 128 photographs
